Sheryl Sandberg Biography
Sheryl Sandberg (born 1969) is a technology executive, author, and billionaire. She is the Chief Operating Officer and board member of Facebook and founder of Leanin.org. She was named in the Time 100, an annual list of the most influential people and is reported to be worth over US$1 billion.
Before she joined Facebook, Sandberg was vice president of global online sales and operations at Google. Before Google, Sandberg served as chief of staff for United States Secretary of the Treasury Lawrence Summers.
Sandberg released her first book, “Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead,” co-authored with Nell Scovell in 2013. Lean In is intended for professional women to help them achieve their career goals and for men who want to contribute to a more equitable society.

“Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead” is a 2013 book written by Sheryl Sandberg and Nell Scovell. The book concerns the lack of women in government and business leadership positions and feminism. The book had sold more than one million copies and was on top of the bestseller lists.
