Margaret Whitman (born 1956) is an American business executive, political activist, and philanthropist. Margaret Whitman has served as the President and CEO for a number of well-known brands and is on the board of a number of high profile companies. Whitman was named in Forbes List of the 100 Most Powerful Women in the World.

Whitman served as President and Chief Executive Officer of eBay, from 1998 to 2008. During Whitman’s 10 years with the company, she oversaw its expansion from $4 million in annual revenue to $8 billion in annual revenue. Whitman also served as President and CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, before accepting the role of CEO for Quibi, the short-form mobile video platform.
